Marble worktop installation

Marble gives a classic, natural look that works best in bathrooms, vanity areas and lower-traffic spaces. It’s chosen more for its appearance than its durability, offering soft veining and a traditional feel. We measure, cut and install your marble so it follows the shape of your room properly, helping you avoid gaps or sizing issues once everything is in place.

The benefits of marble worktops

Marble worktops offer a timeless look with natural veining that makes each piece slightly different. This gives your bathroom or vanity area a softer, more traditional finish. It works well in spaces where style matters more than heavy daily use, making it a good choice for bathrooms, dressing areas and feature surfaces.

Marble is naturally cool and smooth, and many people like the character it develops over time. Although it needs more care than quartz or granite, it’s often chosen for the look rather than practicality. There are plenty of colour options, from whites to warm greys, allowing you to match the stone to tiles and other bathroom finishes.

Why people choose us

Marble is softer and more delicate than granite or quartz, so accurate templating helps avoid issues like uneven edges or cut outs that don’t sit right. By measuring on site, we shape the marble to follow your room properly, which helps avoid delays or adjustments during installation.

During fitting, each piece is handled with extra care. Joints, edges and overhangs are checked so everything lines up the way it should. We can also guide you through choices such as splashbacks, upstands and edge details so the final result suits how you use the bathroom day to day. The aim is a smooth, simple process that leaves you with a clean and classic marble finish.

Perfection

I would unreservedly recommend Tom and his team. They supplied and fitted marble for two bathrooms and quartzite for a kitchen for us. All was done with perfection. They were thorough, painstaking, knowledgeable and courteous; a joy to deal with. Tom was also very helpful and patient in helping us choose the stone. We felt always that they knew what they were doing, thinking ahead of any technical issues, and generally that it mattered most to them that we were 100% satisfied which we were.

Great service from experienced team!

We had our old worktops replaced and the whole process was much easier than expected. The team explained everything clearly, kept the place tidy and worked around our schedule without any fuss. The new stone was fitted the same day and the finish is genuinely better than we thought we’d get in an older kitchen. It felt organised from start to finish, and the result has made the whole room look far more up to date.

Your questions, answered

Is marble suitable for kitchens?
Marble can mark and stain more easily than other stones, so it’s not the best choice for busy kitchens. It works better in bathrooms, vanity areas or places where it won’t get heavy use.
How much do marble worktops cost?
Marble worktops usually range from around £300 to £1,000 per square metre, depending on the colour, thickness and any shaping needed. Once we’ve seen your layout, we can give you a clearer figure.
How long does marble installation take?
Most marble worktops are fitted in a single day. Bigger layouts or more detailed shaping may take a little longer, and we’ll explain this in advance.
Do you handle the templating for marble?
Yes. We take on-site measurements so the marble can be shaped properly to match your units and appliances, reducing the chance of gaps or misaligned cut outs.
How soon after templating can marble be fitted?
Marble is normally fitted one to two weeks after templating, depending on fabrication times and any extra polishing needed.
Is marble easy to look after?
Marble needs more care than other stones as it can mark or etch more easily, which is why it’s better suited to bathrooms rather than busy kitchens. Simple routines like wiping spills and using mild cleaners help keep it in good condition.
